This allows you to record comments about the current phone call to/from a
customer or prospect.
1. Select Gx CRM on the toolbar.
2. Select Contact Details from the menu.
3. Select the required customer. You can use the quick access lookup or
advanced search to find an account if you do not know the exact account
code.

Click on the Current Call Tab.
5. Use the white area where the cursor is flashing to type any comments you
wish to record about this telephone call.
6. Ensure you have the correct contact
person displayed on the right side of
the screen, this name is recorded against the current call comments you
save. You may need to create a new contact if their details do not already
exist on the account. Additionally you will see a Comment Category drop down list,
select an option to categorise this call appropriately. New Comment
Categories can be created by navigating to CRM - Options - Options - Comment
Categories.
7. If you have selected the Opportunities comment category then Opportunity Date and Value fields will appear. The Opportunity date is the month and year when the opportunity will arise. You may view a report on all sales opportunities by navigating to Gx CRM - Reports - Opportunities Report. You can view all the opportunities created for the customer or prospect by clicking on the Opportunities tab.
8. The call backs already set for this customer are displayed below the
comment box. You are given the opportunity to update call back details for
this customer or prospect when you Save Contact Details.
